Defensive Driving Course

 

             In our four (4) hour Defensive Driving class, we teach our student that driving is a privilege and not a right. This course objective are to instill into teens and adults of all ages that defensive driving is a way of driving your vehicle that will helps you avoid collisions and accidents regardless of the condition and/or the actions of drivers around. We educate individuals about how defensive driving goes beyond the laws of the road; explain the laws of physics as they apply to moving vehicles and help individuals analyze their driving choices and the consequences of those choices. Our driving instructors are state certified, very dedicated, friendly and possess years of professional experience. We provide continuous support, whether you are obtaining your license or just want to improve your driving skills. Teen's Safety First Driving School is known for its professionalism of teaching their students, how to think behind the wheel, plan ahead, and anticipate the actions of other drivers. We are committed to helping drivers become a safe and responsible driver.

• Signs, Signals & Pavement Markings 

• Defensive Driving Techniques and Characteristics  

• Following Distances  

• Safety Tips on Passing

• Hydroplaning

• Seat Belts  

• Night Driving     

• Sharing the Road    

• Keeping a Space Cushion/Space Management  

• Distracted Driving   

• Driving Offenses

• Driving Hazards and Emergencies

 

This includes but is not limited to DVD’s, Classroom Activities, quizzes and a Final Test. Student must score at least an 80% to pass the class. After successfully completing the class the student  will be given a Certificate of Successful Completion.
